15 year-old from Old Tappan, NJ, Wins National Gold Medal in Prestigious Music Program

A student at the Rockland Conservatory of Music in Pearl River was recently honored with the National Gold Medal and the highest score in the nation for the Royal Conservatory Music program’s “Level 9 Piano” exam. Marigene Kettler is the executive director of the Conservatory in Pearl River, and says 15 year-old John DelJuidice of Old Tappan, New Jersey, more than earned this extremely high honor…

John played earlier this month in the “Celebration of Excellence” recital at Carnegie Hall. He’s been studying at RCM in Pearl River for the last five years.
