The 10th Annual Anthony Amoros Memorial Car Show comes to North Rockland High School tomorrow. The event is named for 18 year-old Anthony Amoros who was killed in a car crash on Thiells-Mount Ivy Road ten years ago in a recently-purchased used car. The airbags had been removed from the car before Amoros purchased it, and he didn’t know they were missing. In 2021, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the “Anthony Amoros” law, prohibiting used car dealers from selling vehicles without airbags. Haverstraw supervisor Howard Phillips says donations and funds raised at the event will go to Anthony’s scholarship fund…
The event runs tomorrow from 11am to 5pm. For more information click here.
