Rockland’s Congressman didn’t wait long to hold his next Town Hall in the Hudson Valley. GOP Representative Mike Lawler of the 17th district will be hosting his second town hall in Westchester on Sunday. Last Sunday’s town hall in West Nyack featured protestors and numerous interruptions, but wasn’t nearly as confrontational as other GOP-led town halls that have been seen around the country. Sunday’s moderator, Orangetown supervisor Teresa Kenny, told “The Morning Show” that it’s unfortunate that the crude behavior at public meetings seems to be the new normal these days…
Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann says it appeared to him that the protestors were assisted by organizations from outside the Hudson Valley…
Sunday’s event is being held at 6 PM at John F. Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School in Somers, and it was completely booked several days ago. Lawler plans to hold two more town halls in the Hudson Valley this year.
