The findings from a delayed study of staffing in state nursing homes and hospitals might have helped the state deal with the COVID-19 situation that pounded New York earlier this year. COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we’ve got three in the hospital being examined, another three have been confirmed with coronavirus. The state says we’ve got 13,973 reported cases, seven more than yesterday, and the number of fatalities here in the county remains unchanged at 674.
