Rockland County parks are re-opening starting tomorrow morning, but only for walking. The one exception is Flat Rock Park in Hillburn, which will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Rockland County executive Ed Day says things in the parks, including restrooms, playgrounds, picnic tables, park benches and dog runs will remain closed…
New Jersey also announced the re-opening of their parks, so the concerns that residents of nearby Bergen County might flood parks here in Rockland aren’t likely to be an issue. Masks are still recommended if you’re out and about, and Day says if people in the parks do not adhere to social distancing, the parks could close again.
