Santos has been caught fudging basic elements of his background, including graduating from college, working for Citi Group and Goldman Sachs, and owning multiple properties. He still hasn’t explained where he got hundreds of thousand dollars to lend to his campaign. Fellow freshman Republican Congressman Mike Lawler told CBS News Santos’ conduct was “an embarrassment and unbecoming.”
