After nearly 40 years, the New Jersey-based retailer, Party City, is shutting down all of its remaining stores, including its Nanuet location. The New Jersey-based chain first filed for bankruptcy in January 2023, then exited bankruptcy in September that year. The company was ultimately unable to overcome more than $800 million in debt.
