A Nyack man has been charged with making a terroristic threat and obstructing governmental administration after complaining about the Rockland District Attorney’s office to the state Attorney General. That’s according Patch.com. Rockland Sheriff Lou Falco says 52 year-old Ariel Barkal, in a call last week to the Attorney General, allegedly threatened to bomb the D-A’s office. Barkal was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County jail on $10,000 bail. The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office will handle the prosecution of the case due to the conflict of interest.
