No serious injuries after an accident involving an SUV and a school bus yesterday in New City. Clarkstown Police say a Clarkstown School bus was turning left at the intersection of Laurel Road and Glenside Drive when it was struck by an SUV. Police say preliminary reports indicate the SUV was speeding, causing it to veer off the roadway and strike a nearby house, causing extensive damage. Police say no one on the bus was hurt, but the SUV driver was treated at the scene for injuries. No word on any charges stemming from the incident.
