Clarkstown’s term limits law is the target of a lawsuit, by one of the people who helped bring it into existence in the first place. That’s according to The Journal News. Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and two others filed the suit last week in State Supreme Court challenging the town’s 2014 term limits law, calling it illegal and unenforceable. Earlier this month Hoehmann told “The Morning Show” that he’s since come full circle on his view of term limits, suggesting all elected officials should be subject to them, or none at all…
Hoehmann originally voted for the term limits law, and if it remains in effect, he’d be unable to run for supervisor again next year for a third term.
