A Haverstraw man has been nabbed in a cyber-sting and accused of second degree rape. The New York State Police, along with the FBI and the Westchester County D-A’s office, ran a sophisticated, undercover operation targeting people involved in the online exploitation of children. Police say 34 year-old Moses Goldstein was busted by the specialized task force allegedly using online platforms that are frequently used for these types of criminal activities. Police say he was trying to exploit vulnerable children online and arrange in-person meetings with them. Goldstein was charged with second degree rape, a class D felony, and arraigned in Greenburgh Town Court. He was sent to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. The investigation continues.
