Public officials from Rockland and Orange County, and few local celebrities, will be racing for a great cause this week in West Nyack. Autobahn Raceway in the Palisades Center will be hosting the event, which will raise money for the Penguin Plunge, which is benefitting four kids in our area with serious health issues and massive medical bills. Other racers include Rockland County Sheriff Lou Falco, Orange County Sheriff Paul Areta, Rockland Legislature Chairman Jay Hood, actor Paul Borghese, and WRCR’s own Jeff Lewis. There will also be pro racers from Orange County Fair Speedway. It’s happening Thursday, January 26th at 7pm at the Autobahn Indoor Speedway at Palisades Center in West Nyack.
