Rockland’s Congressman Asks State to Open Vaccination Facility in County

Rockland’s Congressman has joined the growing chorus of lawmakers urging New York’s governor and the state Health Commissioner to open a state vaccination facility in Rockland County. Congressman Mondaire Jones said it is unacceptable that Rockland is being left behind, and the state should be making it easier, not harder, for residents to get vaccinated.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, no new deaths to report, the total remains at 899. We’ve got 38 hospitalized confirmed with coronavirus, and 1,848 active cases. Our total case count is 40,203, that’s 193 more than Wednesday.
