“Higher Risk” Sports Get Authorization to Proceed with New COVID Safety Precautions

Seven Hudson Valley counties, including Rockland, have authorized “Higher-Risk” sports — both scholastic and non-scholastic — to proceed starting today. Each school district can proceed at their own discretion. Parents, coaches, and athletes will need to affirmatively consent to participate in their sports and understand the risk of potential disease transmission.
