North Rockland State Senator Slams Governor’s “Unilateral Decision-Making” on Twitter

North Rockland’s state senator took to Twitter Wednesday night to slam the governor for being secretive when it comes to making new COVID rules. Late yesterday Skoufis said he’s had several productive conversations with the Governor’s office and appreciates the efforts toward better collaboration.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we’ve got 51 in the hospital confirmed with coronavirus, and a total of 1,524 active cases. The state says since the crisis began, we’ve had a total of 20,263 reported cases, 87 more than Thursday, and the number of deaths in the county since the pandemic began remains at 691.
