COVID Cases in Rockland Red Zones Dip, but Remain Red

Rockland COVID red zones in Ramapo hovered around seven percent, they are showing improvement but not enough to no longer be considered red. To get out of the red, the positive testing rate needs to be below 4% for 10 days. COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we’ve got 24 in the hospital being examined, another has been confirmed with coronavirus, and a total of 884 active cases. The state says since the crisis began, we’ve had a total of 18,353 reported cases, 243 more than Monday, and the number of deaths in the county since the pandemic began remains at 684, it’s been there for about a week.
