Man Charged in Alleged Assault, Gun Incident at Palisades Center

A man was arrested Sunday after an alleged assault in a parking lot in West Nyack Sunday night. Clarkstown Police say the unidentified 26 year old from Queens Village reportedly assaulted two women and threatened to shoot them in Parking Lot B at Palisades Center. After a brief high-speed chase around the mall’s ring road he was taken into custody. Police say they found a gun and some marijuana in the man’s car. The two women refused medical attention. The suspect is accused of Criminal Possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and other charges.
