13th Annual “Penguin Plunge” Raises Tens of Thousands for Local Families with High Health Care Bills

The 13th annual “Penguin Plunge,” held in March at Nyack Memorial Park just before the COVID-19 lockdown hit, has handed out the money raised from the event and a handful of other smaller events this year to two area kids with some challenging healthcare needs. Barbara Noyes helps run the Plunge and says the money went to the families of 4 year-old Jelien Ramos and 2 year-old Skylar Hurley to help with their medical bills…
