Suffern Central School District Announces Distance-learning Approach for School this Year

The Suffern Central School district is among the first to announce they will be starting the school year with an all distance-learning approach. said that in an email to district families, the school said their remote learning plan assures live daily instruction will be provided, and all students will have a device they can use to access classes. In New Jersey, the governor announced yesterday school districts could start with all-remote learning if they can’t meet all health and safety standards for safe in-person instruction.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, in Rockland, we’ve got three in the hospital being examined, another three have been confirmed with coronavirus. The state says we’ve got 13,966 reported cases, 12 more than yesterday, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 674 fatalities here in the county, no change for more than two weeks.
