Hoehmann says they may need to open up their community centers if power failures are widespread, though they have been closed since the COVID pandemic hit, and he’s hoping the damage stays to a minimum. Tonight’s concert at the Lake Nanuet Ballfield featuring “The Nerds” has been postponed. In Orangetown, supervisor Teresa Kenny says town Hall will be open for residents to use. The lobby area is air-conditioned and has seating and bathrooms available from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Social distancing and masks are required. Check with your local municipality if you have any questions about services during the storm.
