House Passes Child Care for Economic Recovery Act

The House Wednesday passed the Child Care for Economic Recovery Act in a bipartisan vote of 250-161. Congresswoman Nita Lowey says the bill would make significant investments in the Child Care Entitlement to States, invest in infrastructure improvements to childcare facilities, and reimburse essential workers for child and dependent care costs during the COVID-19 pandemic…
