California yesterday had about 10,000 more cases than New York does, but New York’s death toll is still far and away the highest in the nation at 32,270, more than double the state in second, New Jersey.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, in Rockland, we’ve got four in the hospital being checked out, another eight have been confirmed with coronavirus. The state says we’ve got 13,820 reported cases, 8 more than yesterday, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 673 fatalities here in the county, no change in that number since yesterday.
