Clarkstown Party Attendees Talk to Rockland Contact Tracers, Avoid Fines

The eight people connected to a COVID-19 outbreak in Clarkstown decided to work with the Rockland Health department’s contact tracers instead of facing fines of $2,000-a-day. The eight attended a party last month where the host had reportedly tested positive for coronavirus. No fines were issued.

COVID-19 by the numbers now, in Rockland, we’ve got 7 in the hospital being checked out, and another 6 confirmed with coronavirus. The state says we’ve got 13,612 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 668 fatalities here in the county, holding steady since July 1st.
