Rockland and Mid-Hudson Region Cleared to Enter Phase Three

Rockland and the Mid-Hudson region are cleared to enter Phase three of the state’s re-opening today. Phase 3 includes the lifting of the requirement for governments to operate with a limit of 50% of staff on-site. Restaurants can resume indoor dining at up to 50% capacity, and spas, nail salons and massage parlors can reopen, as well. COVID-19 by the numbers now, the state has confirmed over 388,000 total cases and 24,739 deaths, only 14 more than yesterday. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got over 13,500 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 667 fatalities here in the county, unchanged since almost a week ago.
