Coronavirus-related Deaths in Rockland Hits 172

The total number of cases of coronavirus across the state is now near 160,000 and the number of deaths as of Thursday afternoon has climbed to over 7,000, with 172 confirmed fatalities here in Rockland. The county executive has asked the state for a containment zone in Ramapo, where the numbers have been their highest, and a temporary hospital set up at the RCC Field House or elsewhere in the county.
