NY Lawmakers Optimistic for On-time Budget, Due Wednesday

New York State’s budget is due this Wednesday and there’s some optimism among area lawmakers it can get done on-time, despite dealing with the coronavirus situation daily. Rockland assemblyman Ken Zebrowski says the coronavirus situation has made negotiations difficult, particularly since sales tax revenue will be hard to calculate. Zebrowski says amendments to the new criminal justice reforms could be in the budget as well…
