22 Sickened at Ramapo High School; HAZMAT Gives All-Clear and School has Resumed

Ramapo Police say 22 students and staff members were treated this morning at Ramapo High School after a foul odor was detected in the school. patients. 19 were treated at the scene, one was taken to Nyack Hospital. Police say Rockland County Hazmat conducted air sample analysis and found no presence of hazardous conditions present. Patients had complained of feeling nausea, coughing, and sore throats. The school has been reopened and students are back in class. Ramapo Police are investigating the incident and no additional information was available.
