Bill to Raise the Income Eligibility to Save on Taxes Passes Senate

A bill that would raise the income eligibility for home-owning seniors or people with disabilities or low income to save on their taxes has passed the Senate. Rockland and Westchester state senator David Carlucci says the bill would raise the income eligibility from $29,000 to $50,000 so they could get a property tax exemption…

The bill still needs to pass the Assembly before moving on to the governor’s desk.
