“Walk the Carpet” Kicks Off Celebration of 19th Amendment’s 100th Anniversary

2020 marks 100 years since women got the right to vote in the United States. The 19th amendment was needed for that, and it was ratified on August 18th, 1920. “SuffrageForward–100 Years and Onward” is a year-long local effort to celebrate that landmark centennial.
