Clarkstown to Host Meeting on Criminal Justice Reform Laws Tonight

If you missed last night’s criminal justice reform information session in Haverstraw, or the two earlier this month in Ramapo and Orangetown, you can still catch tonight’s in Clarkstown. Supervisor George Hoehmann says Sheriff Lou Falco, head of the Rockland Police Chiefs Association, Brad Weidel, and Clarkstown Police Chief Ray McCollough will explain the new laws…

Stony Point will be hosting a session on the new laws, set to take effect in January, on December 10th. Local politicians and police officials have urged state lawmakers to enact a moratorium for at least three months so the new laws can be discussed first.
