Two Rockland Not-For-Profits Get $10K each from Blauvelt Car Dealership

Two of the groups that will be at Palisades Center’s Non-profit fair got a large donation from an area car dealer yesterday. Lia Toyota of Rockland celebrated its grand re-opening on Route 303 in Blauvelt yesterday, and gave BRIDGES and Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Rockland County $10,000 each. Lia’s General Manager John Vitro says giving money to BRIDGES was a perfect fit because his father is a retired veteran…

BRIDGES’ Executive Director Carlos Martinez says the money will help support services for veterans with disabilities…

Scott Milich is on Big Brothers-Big Sisters’ board of directors, and says the money will help them with several programs…

And that was Gillian Ballard, President of Big Brothers-Big Sisters. For information about them, visit BBBSofRC.com. For more information about BRIDGES visit their website, BridgesRC.org.
