Paper Shredding Day, Helen Hayes Foundation Fun-run, and 18th Annual Neighborhood Cruisers Car Show Among North Rockland Things-to-Do

The town of Haverstraw is hosting a free paper shredding day tomorrow at town hall. Supervisor Howard Phillips says it’s in the town hall parking lot, and you’re also asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to local pantries…

There’s also the Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation fun-run at Bowline Park tomorrow, so expect some road closures in the area tomorrow morning. It’s an inspirational athletic event for people of all abilities, including runners, wheelchair racers, kids and families, all in support of the Helen Hayes physical rehabilitation hospital.

Then on Sunday in North Rockland there’s the 18th annual Neighborhood Cruisers “Cruisin’ for Kids” car show from 8-4pm. Stony Point supervisor Jim Monaghan says money raised goes to a worthy cause…

The car show is at Bowline Point Park in Haverstraw Sunday from 8-4.
