Rockland’s Measles State of Emergency Expires, Not Renewed

The state of emergency declared over the measles outbreak will not be renewed, it expired at midnight. The first state of emergency was declared March 25th and renewed three times. It originally banned all minors from public areas, but a lawsuit prompted a judge to halt it. There have been 282 confirmed cases of measles in the county since July 17th.
