Man Struck by Train, Killed on Pascack Valley Line During Morning Commute Monday

An unidentified man was killed in Park Ridge, New Jersey, after he was
struck by a train at the height of the morning commute yesterday. Service
on the Pascack Valley line was suspended after the man was struck around
7:25. The 1612 train bound for Secaucus had left Spring Valley around 15
minutes earlier with about 180 customers and crew on board. New Jersey
Transit police are investigating the incident.
