Two Pomona Locations Nominated for Placement on Registers of Historic Places

The New York State Board for Historic Preservation has recommended adding 17 places in the state to the State and National Registers of Historic Places, including two in Pomona. Once the recommendations are approved the properties are listed on the registers. Meanwhile, the Historical Society is holding its annual dinner Sunday, where the late former County Executive John Grant and his family are among the honorees; they are getting the Lifetime Service Award.
