West Nyack Murder Suspect Fights Extradition from Pennsylvania

The suspect in a West Nyack murder case is fighting extradition from his cell in Pennsylvania. 24-year-old Eric Ross faces charges of second-degree murder and first-degree criminal use of a firearm in the fatal shooting last month of Youbens Joseph, the owner of Youbs Auto Sales on Route 59 near Palisades Center. Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann says the governors of New York and Pennsylvania have to make the extradition happen if the suspect refuses to cooperate. Hoehmann says town hall employees, meanwhile, have been trying to help make the holiday season a little brighter for the Joseph family…

The extradition process could take six weeks or more.
