Rockland Marks November as National Adoption Month

November is National Adoption Month. Rockland County’s Department of Social Services’ Children’s Services Unit joins with local Wendy’s franchisees to increase awareness of the need for foster families. Recruiting people to become foster parents is key to forging successful adoptions. County Executive Ed Day says for the seventh year in a row, DSS staff will be at Wendy’s locations in Nanuet and West Haverstraw to help answer questions about becoming foster or adoptive parents…
