Questions continue to swirl around Rockland’s animal shelter in Pomona following the manager’s firing and the exodus of many staff and volunteers in protest over the weekend. Earlier this week the president of Hi Tor’s board of directors Debbie DiBernardo told “The Morning Show” that the accusations being thrown around on social media are false, though she would not discuss the specific circumstances surrounding the firing of the shelter’s manager…

A petition on Change.org asking for Michael Sanducci to be re-instated now has more than 8-thousand names. Meanwhile, yesterday the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter of New Jersey took 26 of Hi Tor’s cats and the Westchester SPCA took 15 to help find homes for them.
