Jawonio Gets $75K is State Funds for Transitions Outpatient Program

$75,000 in state funding was presented yesterday, in the form of an over-sized novelty check, to Jawonio, the New City-based non-profit that works with people with developmental disabilities. At the presentation with Rockland State Senator David Carlucci, Jawonio CEO Jill Warner said the money will fund the group’s Transitions Outpatient Program, which supports those recently discharged from inpatient behavioral health units and those who would otherwise require emergency room or inpatient hospital services…
