Bronx Man Arrested after Three-Car Crash in Nanuet

A Bronx man has been arrested and charged in Monday’s three-car accident that closed Route 59 eastbound in Nanuet for hours and sent four to area hospitals. A 61 year-old man had been taken to Westchester Medical Center with a serious leg injury. Others were less seriously injured and treated at Nyack Hospital. The passengers in Brijlall’s car were not charged. He was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court, bail was set at $100,000 and he was taken to the Rockland County Jail.
