Independent Candidate for Governor Brings Campaign to “Morning Show”

The former two-term Democratic mayor of Syracuse running for governor in an independent bid, says the state is wasting taxpayers’ money and failing to solve problems. Miner is running on the “Serve America Movement” line with Republican Michael Volpe, the mayor of the village of Pelham in Westchester. The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle said Miner’s campaign had about $55,000, while Dutchess county executive and GOP candidate Marc Molinaro had more than $1 million and governor Andrew Cuomo had about $9 million.
