Rockland Organization Launches Free Class for Families Dealing with Mental Illness

A local education and support organization is launching a free 12-session class for families who are dealing with a loved one’s mental illness. Sandra Wolf is President of the Rockland chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and she says they’ll be hosting the “Family-to-Family” educational program for adults…

Wolf says one of the biggest problems those suffering from mental illness face is the stigma attached to it. She says the stigma causes many victims to not seek the treatment they need.
