Sports Gambling Good for New Jersey Pocketbook

The month of July was good for New Jersey’s pocketbook. Now that sports gambling has been legalized, and New Jersey became one of the first state to welcome that with open arms, they reportedly took in $40.7 million last month. NJBIZ.com reported the state’s Gaming Enforcement Division said the addition of in-person sports betting at Bally’s and the Meadowlands racetrack helped boost the numbers.
