Wash. DC Man Jailed on DWI with Kids in Car Charges in Ramapo

A Washington, D.C. man was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated DWI after Ramapo police saw him driving with three children in the car who were not wearing safety belts. The 60-year-old unidentified man was stopped Monday afternoon on Route 59 in Hillburn. An investigation reportedly found that he had a blood alcohol content over .18 percent, twice the legal limit. He was charged with aggravated DWI and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was sent to the Rockland County Jail on $15,000 bail.
