New Hotels Coming to Rockland County

The MetFresh supermarket in West Nyack that closed a while back may be taken over by a national chain, but not another supermarket. Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann told “The Morning Show” yesterday the supermarket that was once a Stop and Shop and a Grand Union before that, may end up as a national retail chain. As far as the new hotel in Nanuet, Hoehmann expects it could come before the planning board in the next six months. It would join a new hotel at the Spring Valley Marketplace and the HNA Palisades Conference Center in Orangetown which recently filed for an expansion of rooms it wants to offer to tourists.
