Police Arrest Three NJ Men for Using Assault Rifles in Hillburn

Ramapo Police say Suffern Police officers found three New Jersey men on Creelman Road in Hillburn, just over the border of Mahwah, target-shooting with assault rifles and high-capacity magazines. Police say 22 year-old Dominic Borghetti of Hackensack, 26 year-old David Lamela of West New York, and 23 year-old Nicolas Cianciaruso (sink-a-ROO-so) of Mahwah were arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with several weapons offenses. Cianciaruso also faces a marijuana possession charge. They were arraigned in Hillburn Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
