According to the AP, federal officials said they have separated more than 23-hundred children from their families since May, placing the unaccompanied minors in the government’s care.  That’s when Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the government’s no-tolerance policy for everyone who illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border.
