Former Rockland Bus Company Owner Acquitted on Single Charge, Jury Has One Count Left to Decide

A federal jury will continue deliberations for a third day today after convicting a former Rockland Bus Company owner on three of five corruption charges Wednesday and acquitting him of an obstruction of justice charge yesterday. According to The Journal News, the jury still needs to decide the last count, a charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. 50 year-old Richard Brega of Stony Point was accused in January last year in a scheme to defraud Rockland BOCES by billing for bus maintenance that was not performed.
