Chris Jensen Takes Over as Acting Director of Fire and Emergency Services; Gordon Wren Starts Retirement

Rockland Fire and Emergency Services department will have a temporary director now that Gordon Wren is officially retired. The county executive’s office says Chris Jensen, who is the county’s Hazardous Materials Coordinator and Wren’s second-in-command, will take over as Acting Director until a permanent director is chosen. Meanwhile, Rockland Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski is glad to know Wren isn’t entirely going away, and that he’ll still be involved in Rockland safety issues…
