Patrick Farm Development Future in Limbo as it’s Sent Back to Square One

The Patrick Farm housing development project in Ramapo – about 200 acres of land near Route 306 and 202 in Pomona – has been pushed back to square one after a judge last week nullified zone changes and site plan approvals given to the builder by the town. Environmental attorney Susan Shapiro represents her parents’ estate and has spent a lifetime living on the property formerly owned by her parents. Shapiro told “The Morning Show” because the property, owned by the Liebowitz family and Scenic Development LLC, sits on top of an aquifer that supplies a third of the county with drinking water, the project proposed for the property should never have been allowed to proceed…
